Omg I went on a surprise trip to Norway in Jan of 2024, so surprising I did not know till scanning the boarding pass. An entirely wonderful birthday experience. Except for my partner not advising me on my choice of footwear. I had canvas topped “alpine”superga’s. The rubber sole was a saving grace but I cannot stress this enough. Canvas and snow need not mix.
Enjoyed this report from the FSs! I worry that I bought my Blundstones too small, as I definitely couldn’t fit two pairs of socks in there (I mostly wear them with dresses and tights). I can however recommend the Blundstones specific sheepy footbeds, which kept me toasty warm and somewhat chic on a Christmas Day walk to the pub where the rest of my family were wearing proper walking shoes to slip around in the mud. (And then I wore the same boots for a smart day in London later in the break. Ideal!)
I think perhaps I bought mine too large / have spindly feet. I am VERY excited to hear about these sheepy footbeds though, and will be researching them forthwith.
It was 40° in Melbourne yesterday but I was coerced into purchasing ugg clogs (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it). I was too slow on the merch drop though. Will there be another release?
I’m off to Iceland later this year for mine and husband’s joint 40th and as soon as we booked, his first words to me were “please Judy, do not buy any more coat.”
Words cannot explain how thrilled I was to open this.

This is the kind of on-the-ground reporting I live for. Thank you for your service.

Always glad to hear a dispatch from the FS’s. Mine has only had to deal with 1 Italian family holiday but she looks forward to future adventures.

Love hearing about the fat sisters but even more keen to know which horny spa hotel you went to in Norway!
The Well, near Oslo!
